Job Description

The Senior Salesforce Developer with over five years of extensive hands‑on experience will deliver scalable, secure, and high‑performance solutions across Salesforce Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud. The role demands expertise in both administration and development, including end‑to‑end platform configuration, custom application development using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and SOQL, as well as the implementation of complex business logic through a combination of code and Salesforce Flow.

Additionally, the position requires deep knowledge of enterprise integration, Dev Ops, and Agile delivery, with experience building REST/SOAP APIs, middleware integrations, continuous‑integration/continuous‑deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and infrastructure as code (IaC).

  • Improve delivery speed and platform stability by leveraging Dev Ops best practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile collaboration to accelerate releases while maintaining quality and compliance.
  • Collaborate with staff to ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and systems for fulfilling business objectives and processes.
  • Ensure applications meet business requirements and system goals.
  • Develop and maintain business domain knowledge.
  • Understand and apply relevant policy, standards and procedures to your work.
  • Stay current on technology changes applicable to your domain and how to apply them to initiatives.
  • Demonstrate adherence to IT principles and critical thinking.
  • Collaborate with different areas of IT and the business to provide solutions.
  • Identify and resolve system issues.
  • Provide timely reports on the status of tasks and projects, as well as any unforeseen issues to management and business units.

  • Apply IT security principles and controls to ensure systems and users operate safely and securely.
  • Support the team in adhering to best practice techniques and promoting continuous improvement.
  • Test changes to ensure issues are resolved and functionality and operational control are not adversely impacted.
  • Develop software or configuration solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, studying systems flow, data usage and work processes, investigating problem areas, and following the software development life cycle.
  • Determine operational feasibility by evaluating problem definition, requirements, solution development and proposed solutions.
  • Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Salesforce Administrator and Platform Developer I certification required.
  • Proficiency in Apex, HTML and SOQL/SOSL.
  • Experience developing and administering CI/CD pipelines with Azure Dev Ops or Git Hub Enterprise.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with the capability to communicate complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate with business users and provide consultation on Salesforce solutions.
  • Hands‑on experience in Salesforce and Marketing Cloud setup and administration, including managing users, security controls, data, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, OWD, sharing rules and reports.
  • Design experience with custom objects, fields, picklists, page layouts, workflows, approval processes, assignment rules, validation rules, dynamic layouts, custom tabs, reports, Visualforce pages, dashboards, and email generation.
