Akkodis is seeking a Senior Java Developer with Azure for a Contract with a client in Chicago, IL. Candidate must have strong expertise in designing and developing software components aligned with architectural guidelines.
Rate Range: $45/hour to $60/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Job Responsibilities
- Develops software components using Java, Spring Boot, and Azure while aligning with established architectural frameworks.
- Implements clean, standards‑compliant code and performs thorough testing to ensure platform compatibility.
- Guides team members by providing technical direction and resolving complex design or coding challenges.
- Collaborates closely with architects and stakeholders to communicate progress, risks, and technical decisions.
- Enhances application stability, scalability, and user experience through continuous improvements.
- Addresses security considerations and manages technical risks by applying SSDLC and best‑practice mitigation approaches.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a closely related technical discipline.
- 10+ Years of experience required.
- Required strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, Azure, and cloud‑native application development.
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodology, SSDLC practices, and full software development lifecycle execution.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $60.00 per hour
