We are looking for a skilled developer to create and maintain automations and integrations within our Hub Spot and n8n environment. You will work directly under the TPM who will provide architecture, designs, requirements, and strategy to build reliable, transparent, and efficient automations
.

• Build and maintain automations and integrations in Hub Spot and n8n based on specifications provided using Custom Code or Workflow Actions to handle logic that native nodes cannot.
• Build and maintain custom UI extensions using Hub Spot’s new Developer Platform.
• Provide documentation on solutions you build
• Assist the TPM in investigating and resolving escalated support tickets.
• Provide assistance in quality assurance, testing, and debugging when requested.
• Work with team members to understand and build in the eco‑system
• Participate in Meetings or Team Activities when required
• Hub Spot
  • Our Hub Spot is sophisticated with many custom objects and workflows that drive our business across the entire organization. We utilize Hub Spot’s newest features and beta programs. Staying up to date on Hub Spot’s tools and building without breaking other aspects of the Hub Spot ecosystem are essential to performing well in this role.
  • You will build and maintain Custom UI Extensions using React
• Automation: n8n (Cloud)
  • When Hub Spot workflows are not able to deliver what is needed, we use n8n for automations. In addition to Hub Spot workflows, this will be the main tool you will use for backend processing.
• We use Hub Spots Custom UI Extensions and Components to build custom cards directly in the Hub Spot interface.

• The "Builder" Mindset: You are happy receiving a clear set of requirements and turning them into working automations, code, and UI extensions. You ask questions and get answers when requirements are unclear. You focus on building simple solutions that solve business problems with clear monitoring and reporting.
• Technical Proficiency:
  • 1-2 years experience developing in Hub Spot.
    • Strong knowledge and experience in building Hub Spot Workflows and utilizing their API for CRUD and Batch operations.
  • Strong proficiency in n8n (JSON, data transformation, and core nodes).
  • Solid grasp of building and maintaining JavaScript/Type Script functions in automation nodes and webhook frameworks.
  • Strong proficiency in React development and rendering lifecycle.
  • Candidates with experience in building with AI will be preferred.
• Communication: You can clearly communicate progress, blockers, and implementation details to a technical manager using Jira and Slack. You actively communicate and get answers when you are blocked or do not have clear requirements. You make reasonably accurate estimations of your deadlines for completion.

• Salary Range: $110,000 – $130,000 USD (Chicago Market) Destify utilizes a global equitable compensation model. Final offers are tailored to the candidate's home location using a Price Parity Index to ensure consistent buying power across all regions.
