Full Stack Developer

Responsibilities

We are looking for a project-based Full Stack Developer to build a web application that enables real estate consultants to evaluate the impact of various real estate occupancy scenarios on a client's workplace portfolio. The application is specified (with a working React prototype) and ready for a developer to take from prototype to production.

• 3-7 years of full‑stack web application development
• Strong React (hooks, state management, component architecture); converting a 1,280‑line prototype into a production app
• Python backend experience (FastAPI, Flask, or Django); the calculation engine and data pipeline are Python‑heavy
• Databricks/Apache Spark experience
• Designing Delta tables, writing Spark jobs for heavy calculations, and integrating Databricks SQL with the frontend
• Excel file processing (openpyxl or similar); the app ingests 5 multi‑tab workbooks with schema validation
• Data visualization (Recharts, D3, or Plotly); bubble charts, stacked bars, interactive dashboards
• GCP deployment experience (Cloud Run, GKE, or Compute Engine);
  Docker containerization
• Understanding of financial calculations: NPV, discount rates, lease escalation, salary arbitrage

• Google Workspace API integration (Drive, Sheets) for native file sharing
• PDF/PowerPoint generation (Report Lab, python-pptx)
• Experience building multi‑tenant SaaS that gets deployed behind enterprise firewalls

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
