C# Developer; W​/Capital Markets ; W2​/No C2C

Position Overview

Must have knowledge of capital markets.

• Build and extend applications with high throughput and scalability.
• Design and develop multi‑threaded C# applications, ensuring thread safety.
• Containerize applications in a Kubernetes environment.
• Develop middle‑tier services at scale.
• Integrate with third‑party external providers using REST, SOAP, FIX and secure file transfer.
• Deliver system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Apply agile methodologies such as CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
• Leverage knowledge of capital markets financial products (equities, futures, options, bonds, swaps, FX).
• Use practical cloud‑native experience in the trading industry IT systems.

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
• Advanced knowledge and experience with C#/.NET.
• Advanced knowledge and experience in developing multi‑threaded applications.
• Experience building middle‑tier services at scale.
• Experience developing software that integrates with third‑party providers using REST, SOAP, FIX, and secure file transfer.
• Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline such as cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or mobile.
• In‑depth knowledge of markets and trading industry IT systems, with practical cloud‑native experience.

• Experience working with Portfolio Management systems.
• Ability to work in an Agile environment.
• Understanding of modern User Interface architecture and design.
• Experience with data caching technologies (e.g., Redis, Hazelcast).
• Experience with message distribution technologies (e.g., Rabbit
  
  MQ, Kafka).
• Advanced English language skills.

Contract to Hire position based out of Chicago, IL.

Pay range: $80.00 – $100.00/hr.
