Senior Product Engineer, Americas

About the Role

We are looking for a versatile, persistent Product Engineer who can build reusable building blocks across the stack and advocate for the time and space to do so. As a Product Engineer at Ashby, you will take ownership over a large portion of one of our products, handling projects end‑to‑end wearing hats traditionally worn by product and design.

• Research competitors and write product specifications.
• Create wireframes and design interfaces.
• Build features end‑to‑end, from research to implementation.
• Own projects end‑to‑end, collaborating with product managers and designers.
• Examples of work include deploying automated interview scheduling, building a declarative filter architecture, and implementing in‑app offer signing.

• Experience working across the full technology stack; comfortable with both frontend and backend.
• Experience delivering features with significant product and technical ambiguity.
• Balance speed and quality, delivering high‑quality software on a fast timeline.
• Strong collaborator and communicator, capable of vetting decisions with stakeholders.
• Self‑motivated and improves continuously, open to feedback.
