About The Role

The role builds and maintains the core backend services, APIs, and data layer that power a banking platform.

This is a direct‑hire, product engineering role – not consulting. You will have real ownership over specific banking modules and work closely with domain experts, product managers, and QA engineers.

• Design and build ASP.NET Core APIs and backend services that process real‑time payment transactions, account management operations, and regulatory reporting
• Develop and maintain C# business logic layers with clean separation of concerns, comprehensive error handling, and clear logging
• Design and optimize SQL Server schemas and stored procedures for high‑reliability financial data persistence
• Deploy and maintain services on Azure (App Services, Service Bus, Azure SQL, Azure Functions) using infrastructure‑as‑code principles
• Write thorough automated tests using xUnit and Moq; maintain test coverage as features evolve
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and on‑call rotation for production incident support
• Contribute to internal documentation, API contracts, and runbooks for your technical area

• 2–7 years of professional .NET / C# development with ASP.NET Core in a production environment
• Strong SQL Server skills: schema design, query optimization, stored procedures, and transaction management
• Azure cloud experience: deployment, monitoring, and at least one of App Services, Functions, or Service Bus
• Experience with Entity Framework Core for ORM and raw  for performance‑critical paths
• Familiarity with REST API design and basic security best practices (OAuth2, JWT, HTTPS)
• Bonus: WPF for internal tooling, microservices on .NET, Docker/.NET containerization, or financial services domain knowledge
