Mobile Architect - Virtual

We are seeking a seasoned, hands‑on mobile architect to lead the design and development of robust, high‑quality cross‑platform mobile applications. This role will also be responsible for defining and maintaining the overall architecture of our mobile solutions.

• Architect, design, and develop mobile applications for iOS and Android using cross‑platform frameworks.
• Define and enforce best practices for performance, security, and scalability.
• Collaborate with architects and developers to ensure smooth delivery and rapid issue resolution.
• Write clean, maintainable code and implement automated testing to ensure application quality.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to uphold high standards of quality and scalability.
• Integrate mobile applications with cloud services and backend systems.
• Mentor and guide junior developers to foster technical growth and excellence within the team.

• 10+ years in mobile development, with at least 2+ years in a mobile architect position.
• Cross‑Platform:
  Ionic & Capacitor with Angular, React Native.
• iOS:
  Swift, Swift
  
  UI, XCTest (or equivalent).
• Android:
  Java/Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Espresso (or equivalent).
• Cloud Integration:
  Firebase.

• Performance profiling and optimization for iOS and Android.
• Monitoring and crash reporting using tools like Crashlytics (or equivalent).
• Familiarity with AWS.
• Understanding of mobile UI/UX principles to enhance user engagement.

Proof of US citizenship will be required at the time of hire, as this role supports services to the federal government and/or a federal government contractor.
