Embedded Software Engineer , EFA Annapurna

Annapurna Labs, a key division within Amazon, is looking for a Software Embedded Development Engineer to design, develop, and optimize mission‑critical embedded software for cloud infrastructure. The role involves building firmware, device drivers, and low‑level user‑space applications for custom silicon such as Graviton, ML accelerators, and high‑performance networking solutions. You will work with teams focused on networking, machine learning acceleration, and high‑performance computing (HPC), directly impacting millions of AWS services worldwide.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 5+ years of professional experience in embedded software development, with strong proficiency in C/C++
• Hands‑on experience with firmware, device drivers, or user‑space applications for embedded systems, including low‑level hardware interaction

• Knowledge of network design, protocols, and troubleshooting
• Experience communicating clearly and concisely with leadership, stakeholders, and cross‑functional teams
• Experience with AWS or cloud technologies
• Knowledge of hardware/software co‑design
• Familiarity with storage protocols
