• Work closely with the Architecture team to build backbone services that form the foundation of the Apex platform.
• Design and implement the next generation of our GCP cloud‑native, event‑driven (Apache Kafka) microservice architecture.
• Provide technical thought leadership and deliver high‑quality system designs for our high‑volume, high‑availability trade clearing platform.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain foundational services and SDKs leveraged by product development teams.
• Apply best practices and coding standards guided by our Senior Engineers.
• Build resilient, self‑scaling, and self‑healing services that ensure reliability and peace of mind.
• Support the production systems you create, including build, deployment (CI/CD), and monitoring (Grafana, Prometheus, Pager Duty).
• Write clean, well‑tested code and uphold high code‑quality standards through thorough code reviews.

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related field, plus two (2) years of post‑baccalaureate experience as a Software Engineer or in a related position in a financial technology company.
• Experience with distributed systems, microservices, Kubernetes ops, Kafka, gRPC, workflow orchestration, Go, and ArgoCD.
