Location: Chicago, Illinois (Hybrid)

Employment Type: Contract

Duration: 12 months w/extension

An experienced .NET Developer is sought to design, build, and enhance applications using the Microsoft .NET framework. This role involves developing new software solutions, improving existing systems, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams throughout the full software development lifecycle.

• Participate in requirements analysis and solution design.
• Collaborate with internal teams on application architecture and technical design.
• Develop clean, scalable, and maintainable code using .NET technologies.
• Test, deploy, refactor, and debug applications.
• Enhance and modernize existing software solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and provide technical support as needed.

• Proven experience as a .NET Developer with strong knowledge of ASP.NET and C#.
• Strong AWS experience.
• Expertise in application architecture and design.
• Experience with Dev Ops, CI/CD, and deployment processes.
• Knowledge of testing and quality engineering best practices.
• Familiarity with SQL Server and design/architectural patterns such as MVC.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and integration patterns.
• Working knowledge of HTML5 and CSS

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Security awareness.
• Experience with performance tuning and profiling.
• Knowledge of cost optimization within AWS.

The pay rate for this position is between $75.00 and $85.00 per hour.
