Location: Deerfield, IL (Hybrid or Remote with quarterly onsite travel)
OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Application Developer with deep .NET/C# expertise and working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 to design and enhance enterprise business applications. This is a highly visible role working closely with business stakeholders, requiring strong communication skills and an “architect-level” mindset.
This individual will help transition development work in-house, contribute hands‑on, and eventually assist in building and mentoring a growing internal team.
What You Will Do- Design and develop scalable applications leveraging .NET/C#, with integration into Microsoft Dynamics
- Customize Dynamics (entities, workflows, forms, business logic) while maintaining platform integrity
- Develop and optimize integrations across systems using Azure services, REST APIs, and webhooks
- Improve user experience (e.g., consolidating workflows, streamlining multi‑step processes)
- Partner directly with business stakeholders to translate needs into technical solutions
- Provide architectural guidance on best practices, standardization, and efficiency
- Participate in testing, troubleshooting, and production support
- Contribute in a fast‑paced environment with evolving business priorities
- 7+ years of application development experience (near‑architect level)
- Strong expertise in C# and .NET (core requirement)
- Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (customization and development)
- Experience with integrations, APIs, and Azure‑based services
- Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
- Comfortable in a fast‑paced, high‑demand environment
- Willingness to be hands‑on while also providing strategic/architectural direction
- Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)
- Background in consulting or similar fast‑paced environments
- Experience consolidating workflows, optimizing UX, and modernizing systems
- Familiarity with Dev Ops tools, version control, and SQL/data modeling
- Strong communicator and business partner
- Strategic thinker with architect‑level decision‑making ability
- Not siloed—able to operate across multiple domains
- Hands‑on, adaptable, and solutions‑oriented
