Software Developer - Application Focused Requirements
- 4-6 years of experience in software development, holding a related degree or equivalent qualifications.
- Recent hands‑on experience (within the last 3 months) with the core technology stack mentioned.
- Strong problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.
- Expertise in utilizing AI‑assisted coding or productivity tools like Microsoft Copilot or Git Hub Copilot.
- Solid judgment in reviewing AI-generated outputs, ensuring compliance with enterprise quality and security standards.
- Thorough understanding of responsible AI use in a business context, addressing data privacy and secure software practices.
- Execute end-to-end software solutions throughout the software development lifecycle, encompassing design, development, testing (SIT/UAT), deployment, and production support.
- Develop and sustain applications utilizing Java and Spring Boot within a microservices and cloud-native framework.
- Create system and application integrations via RESTful APIs, MQ, Kafka, and SFTP (JSON/XML).
- Optimize and maintain data access logic through Oracle SQL.
- Ensure that solutions adhere to enterprise standards concerning security, resiliency, performance, logging, and observability.
- Diagnose and resolve intricate application issues across both development and production settings.
- Assist in release management, version control, and ongoing improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams comprising both technology and business members.
- Employ AI tools to examine existing code, grasp system behavior, and expedite onboarding for new applications and domains.
- Utilize AI for generating code, crafting tests, debugging, and providing documentation support while maintaining control over the final design and implementation decisions.
- Implement AI to assist in troubleshooting errors, logs, and defects to enhance productivity and speed up issue resolution.
- Review and validate AI-generated outputs to ensure correctness, security, performance, and long-term maintainability.
- Leverage AI as a learning resource to stay updated with new technologies, frameworks, and engineering best practices.
