Job Description
Digital Factory is searching for an iOS Developer intern that will work on the creation of software enhancements and mobile applications for internal and external client stakeholders. The intern will work with the CTO/Solution Architect and project stakeholders to understand the problem/requirements, architect the solution and drive the solution through the SDLC. A successful candidate will have strong technical ability, great communication and interpersonal skills.
This is an unpaid internship with opportunities to gain real life experiences and career development.

This Position Will Entail- Take part in the design, development, and maintenance of an advanced mobile geolocation library
- Recommend technology, process, tool, and frameworks improvements to efficiently deliver software
- BLE input and NFC input to deliver hyper-relevant information to users
- Other duties as assigned
- BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent work experience
- At least 2 years of programming experience in Objective C and iOS Development
- Substantial development experience with Swift and XCode
- Has or is working to complete a Master's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent work experience
- Two years GIS experience
- Attained or currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Information Technology or Computer Science or any related field
- Applied work experience and/or education directly related to the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed above
- Experience with a start-up is a plus
- Demonstrable understanding of common challenges with mobile/embedded devices, including power management, resource optimization and wireless network reliability
- Bluetooth and NFC application development experience
