Looking for an AS/400 Developer with 5+ years of experience. Requirements include:
- Ability to perform impact analysis and understand functional specifications.
- Digest technical specifications and quickly develop good quality AS/400 modules in a multi‑tech team environment.
- Experience working in a global delivery model, communicating, tracking, and working with offshore teams.
- Proficiency in COBOL/Synon RPG.
- Health care background a plus.
- Experience with RxClaim Adjudication is a big plus.
- Participate in all aspects of software development including definition, design, implementation, testing, delivery, etc.
- Analysis, design, and development of software modules for targeted application domains.
- Enhancement, modification, and correction of existing software modules.
- Contribute to planning and estimation activities.
- AS/400, Synon experience, SQL and good analytical skills.
- RxClaim knowledge.
- Good communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
- Ability to interact with business and IT stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
- Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
