We are seeking a talented and hands-on Quality Enablement AI Engineer to join our team as an onshore contractor. This role is ideal for a mid-level professional with strong software engineering expertise and practical experience building, deploying, and supporting AI-powered applications. The selected candidate will play a key role in developing AI-driven platforms, intelligent agents, and enterprise applications while ensuring high standards of quality, reliability, and performance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in full-stack development, AI-native development practices, cloud-based AI services, and modern software delivery methodologies. Candidates with a background in Quality Engineering (QE) are highly preferred.

• Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications, platforms, intelligent agents, and AI skills.
• Build scalable and production-ready AI solutions that address business needs and improve operational efficiency.
• Develop and integrate AI solutions leveraging Google Vertex AI.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design AI-driven workflows and applications.
• Architect and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive Evaluation (EVALs) frameworks to assess model performance, accuracy, reliability, and business impact.
• Build and maintain applications using the MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js).
• Develop scalable APIs, web services, and integration platforms to support enterprise AI initiatives.
• Participate in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
• Ensure applications meet quality, security, and performance standards.
• Apply quality engineering best practices to ensure robustness, maintainability, and reliability of AI-enabled applications.
• Create testing strategies and validation processes for AI models and application components.

• 7–10 years of experience in software engineering and application development.
• Strong expertise with the MERN Stack:
• MongoDB
• Express.js
• React.js
• Node.js
• Proficiency in:

• Java
• Experience designing and deploying scalable APIs, integrations, and web services.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying production-grade applications.
• Strong understanding of databases, system architecture, interfaces, and application development methodologies.

• Experience with AI-native development tools and workflows, including:
• Cursor
• Git Hub Copilot
• Claude Code
• MCPs (Model Context Protocols)
• Practical experience developing and integrating Generative AI solutions.
• Experience implementing RAG architectures and AI evaluation frameworks.

• IDEs: VS Code, Jet Brains Suite

• Previous experience in Quality Engineering (QE), Software Testing, or Test Automation.
• Strong understanding of software quality practices, validation frameworks, and test strategies.
• Experience ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance of AI-powered applications in production environments.
