Site Reliability Engineer; Senior or Atlas

NYC HQ (hybrid) or fully remote from Eastern or Central time zones. The role supports the Atlas platform as part of the Senior SRE Atlas team.

Seeking a senior Site Reliability Engineer to design, build, and operate complex systems that support the Atlas platform. The role emphasizes autonomy, ownership, and a customer‑first mindset to enhance product reliability and user experience.

• Develop a reliable, resilient multi‑cloud platform that hosts business‑critical applications.
• Collaborate with service‑owning teams to provide internal support, solve technical challenges, and adapt or build tooling for generic use.
• Participate in a 24/7 on‑call rotation to resolve disruptions and ensure high availability.

• 5+ years of experience running critical systems at scale.
• Experience with a major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and building systems in a multi‑cloud environment.
• Strong understanding of large‑scale Linux environments and low‑level fundamentals.
• Proficiency in a modern programming language beyond basic scripting (Go, Ruby, Python).
• Solid knowledge of web and network protocols and standards (HTTP, TLS, DNS, etc.).
• Preference for automation and efficient processes.

Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Base salary (U.S.): $127,000 – $249,000 USD.
