Job overview and responsibilitiesThe Lead Engineer serves as a technical expert with extensive development experience in Service Now. This role manages technical design, configuration, implementation, and maintenance with a primary focus on Field Services (FSM) and IT Asset Management (ITAM) capabilities within the Service Now platform. In this role you will design, configure and deploy technology solutions that streamline operations, improve productivity and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Configure and implement all aspects of Service Now FSM module including developing and automating workflows using designer, business rules, script includes and other tools.
- Customize and enhance the FSM Agent experience, build and maintain integrations between Service Now FSM, ITAM, ITSM and other internal or third‑party systems.
- Plan & Design solutions after requirements are gathered, look for improvements and enhancement opportunities.
- Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting for complex issues related to Service Now functionality, integrations, and performance.
- Ensure that all development work adheres to established coding standards and best practices.
- Participate in Service Now platform upgrades and stay current on new platform features and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field
- 3+ years IT experience
- Development experience on the Service Now platform
- Experience in Agile delivery methodology
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to work independently as well as in a team setting
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
- Service Now Certifications
- ITIL Certification
- 2+ years working with Service Now Field Services or Asset Management Modules

The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job‑related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long‑term incentive compensation awards.
