Python Back-end Developer

Job Title: Python Backend Developer

Location: Chicago, IL - hybrid onsite

Duration: 6 months

• Understand API concepts such as REST, SOAP, and GraphQL.
• Understand API security (OAuth 2.0, JWT token validation).
• Author, maintain, and refactor Terraform modules (Infrastructure as Code).
• Understand Azure resource provisioning and cloud services; hands-on experience with Azure.
• Experience with Azure API Management, Application Gateway (including WAF), Azure Front Door, Key Vault, and monitoring solutions.
• Understand networking concepts: VNets, subnets, NSGs, route tables, private endpoints.
• Proficient in Git Hub Actions (workflow authoring, secrets management, environment setup).
• Experience integrating Terraform deployments into CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with automated testing in pipelines.
• Write and maintain Python scripts for automation.
• Experience with Azure SDKs and REST APIs for resource management.
