Platform Engineer, AI Capability Center Hub

Job Overview

Huron Consulting Group is looking for a shared engineer to build and maintain an internal developer platform that supports multiple pods. The role focuses on creating reusable pipelines, environments, and standards to accelerate production agility.

• Build and run pipelines for all pods, including CI/CD with automated testing.
• Provision, set up, and run environments that pods build in.
• Deploy and monitor models, agents, and production workloads.
• Define and enforce technical and security standards that every pod must meet.
• Develop reusable components so that each new pod starts further ahead than the last.

• Experience building internal developer platforms.
• AI testing and monitoring in production.
• Data‑security awareness in healthcare or higher education (HIPAA, FERPA).
• Knowledge of AWS Machine Learning or Dev Ops, Azure AI-102, or Kubernetes (CKA).

• 5 to 8 years in ML or AI platform work or MLOps, including 1 to 2 years of leadership.
• Hands‑on running AI systems in production.
• Proficiency with AWS and Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure‑as‑code.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

The estimated base salary for this role is $140,000 – $170,000 USD. Including annual incentive compensation, the total estimated compensation range is $161,000 – $218,750 USD.
