About Fleet Pulse
Fleet Pulse is transforming the trailer industry by turning millions of analog trailers into smart, data-driven assets. Originally incubated inside Great Dane, one of North America’s largest trailer OEMs, Fleet Pulse has leveraged this foundation to build an unrivaled distribution advantage: our telematics hardware now comes factory-installed on tens of thousands of new trailers.
But hardware is just the starting point. Our SaaS platform ingests rich telematics data (location, utilization, and health diagnostics) and applies AI and analytics to surface actionable insights that help fleets reduce cargo theft, improve trailer utilization, optimize yard operations, and boost ROI on every trailer.
Telematics on trailers is still in its early innings. Less than 20% of the 4M+ trailers in the U.S. are connected today, and Fleet Pulse is building the application layer fleets rely on to run their trailer operations. With strong investor backing, major OEM distribution partnerships, and a fast-growing installed base, Fleet Pulse is on a steep growth trajectory.
Mission of the RoleFleet Pulse is hiring a GTM Engineer to own the commercial technology stack that powers how we find, win, and retain customers. This is a hands‑on, build‑from‑scratch role sitting inside the Commercial Operations team — the person we hire will be the primary owner of Salesforce, Hub Spot, Clay, and the integrations between them. This means being the architect for everything that makes our revenue engine run.
This is not a maintenance role — it is a build role, and the right candidate will have execution, testing, and learning mindset.
- Salesforce — hands‑on configuration and administration. Can build flows, configure custom objects, write SOQL queries, manage permissions, and build reports and dashboards.
- Integration experience — has connected tools via APIs, Zapier, Make (Integromat), or custom scripts. Can look at two systems that don't talk to each other and figure out how to make them talk.
- Clay or equivalent enrichment tool — has built prospecting workflows using data enrichment, lead scoring logic, and automated list‑building. This is central to what Fleet Pulse is scaling.
- Hub Spot — comfortable in the platform, can manage contacts, campaigns, and workflows. Not just a user — an administrator.
- Light scripting ability — Python or JavaScript at a functional level. Enough to write a webhook handler, automate a data pull, or clean and transform a dataset. This is not a full engineering role, but some code is required.
- Able to work without a technical team as a safety net. This person will own problems end‑to‑end — diagnose, build, test, ship — without a dedicated engineering team to hand off to.
- Lemlist, Instantly, or outbound email sequencing platform experience.
- Has built a GTM stack from the ground up at a startup — not just inherited someone else's architecture.
- Experience with fleet, logistics, transportation, or industrial SaaS — understands the buyer and the workflow context.
