Senior Software Engineer

We are working with a rapidly growing AI-native healthcare company transforming how providers engage with patients  combining agentic voice AI with modern software infrastructure, they are building autonomous agents that handle complex workflows such as health risk assessments, appointment scheduling, prescription reminders, and post-procedure follow-ups, helping healthcare organisations improve patient outcomes while reducing operational burden. They are looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to join a new client delivery team.

• Build and ship
  :
  Write production-grade Python, developing voice AI agents and integrations grounded in real customer workflows.
• Own delivery end-to-end
  :
  Lead the full technical lifecycle of client deployments, from scoping through go-live and iterations.
• Engineer the moat
  :
  Turn complex, one-off client launches into repeatable, scalable systems and playbooks.
• Be the technical face to customers
  :
  Partner with Customer Success to translate client requirements into working solutions.
• Optimise agents in production
  :
  Troubleshoot across voice, telephony, and integration layers to sharpen accuracy and reliability.
• Shape the product
  :
  Feed client patterns back into reusable platform capabilities and roadmap input.

• 3 to 5 years of software engineering experience shipping production systems (hands‑on coding role, not project management).
• Experience building or consuming REST APIs and third‑party integrations (OAuth, webhooks, API keys).
• Fluency with JSON, CSV, SFTP, webhooks, and YAML‑heavy configuration.
• Comfort with cloud infrastructure:
  Kubernetes, Docker, and secret management.
• Proficient using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, Cursor) in your daily workflow.
• Strong communicator, self‑directed, and comfortable with startup ambiguity.

• Experience with voice AI, conversational AI, or telephony platforms (Twilio, Genesys, Five9).
• LLMs and prompt engineering in production.
• Healthcare or compliance‑driven industry background (HIPAA, FHIR, HL7).
• Solutions engineering or client‑facing technical background.
• Familiarity with Lang Chain, Lang Graph, or similar agent frameworks.

• AI agent tuning at scale
  :
  Configure voice agents for medical terminology and complex healthcare workflows, refining continuously as real‑world edge cases surface.
• Workflow orchestration
  :
  Map and automate multi‑step processes such as scheduling, risk assessments, prescription reminders, and follow‑ups across varied customer environments.
• Personalisation that scales
  :
  Deploy agents that adapt to each organisation's protocols without rebuilding from scratch for every customer.
• Debugging AI in the wild
  :
  Diagnose agent failures spanning integrations, telephony, and LLM behaviour, then implement fixes that hold across deployments.
• Shape the product from the field
  :
  Spot patterns across client deployments and translate them into product requirements that move the roadmap forward.
