Job Description

This position involves maintaining and enhancing a NodeJS application with a web frontend and a web API. The applicant will work within a team, mentor junior developers, and collaborate with offshore teams and vendors. The role requires designing, coding, testing, and analyzing software programs and applications for Hyatt guests.

• Maintain, enhance, and support an existing NodeJS application.
• Use Node.js, Express, HTML5, and CSS to develop and maintain web frontend and APIs.
• Collaborate with offshore teams and wifi vendors to configure systems.
• Mentor junior developers.
• Implement internationalization for upcoming deployments.
• Utilize Docker, Git, and optionally Splunk for development and operations.
• Test and troubleshoot solutions using appropriate tools.
• Document and analyze software issues and provide status updates.

• Minimum 4 years experience with Node.js; at least 8 years overall IT experience.
• Previous experience with Express, HTML5, CSS.
• Experience with Docker, Git;
  Splunk experience is a plus.
• Legal entitlement to work in the US (USC, GC, H1B, H1B transfers accepted).
• Valid passport, visa, and driver's license required for submission.
• Ability to mentor and work cross‑functionally.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
