The engineer will implement and optimize advanced signal processing algorithms to facilitate high-bandwidth underwater data transmission. Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to define system interfaces and verify performance across hardware and software components.
The position requires creating tools and procedures for firmware validation, hardware bring-up, and production testing. The engineer will also evaluate technical tradeoffs regarding performance, reliability, and cost while contributing to the growth of engineering standards.##
Required Qualifications and Skills Candidates must hold a B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline. At least five years of experience in developing embedded real-time systems using C and C++ is required. Proficiency in DSP software development and a solid understanding of signal processing theory and linear algebra are necessary. Additionally, applicants must be U.S. Persons and possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
