Role Summary
Seeking an experienced Sr. Java Developer with expertise in Azure cloud and banking domain experience. The role involves designing and building scalable, secure, and low-latency backend services.
Key Responsibilities
Total 12+ years of experience in the IT industry.
Strong Java expertise (Java 8+), with deep understanding of language fundamentals, concurrency, and performance tuning.
Architect, design, develop, test, and maintain Java backend services and microservices on Azure.
Build resilient, high-performance systems for trade capture, order management, pricing engines, risk calculations, and portfolio services.
Implement cloud-native solutions using Azure services like AKS, App Service, Functions, Service Bus/Event Grid, Azure Storage/Blob, Cosmos DB/SQL DB, and Key Vault.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and automated deployments using Azure Dev Ops, Git Hub Actions, Terraform, or Bicep.
Integrate with market data feeds, vendors, exchanges, and internal systems via REST, gRPC, FIX, Web Socket's, Kafka, or Azure Service Bus.
Optimize application performance (JVM tuning, profiling, garbage collection, thread-safety, latency).
Ensure observability and reliability using Application Insights, Prometheus/Grafana, distributed tracing, logging, and alerting.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product owners, traders, quants, risk managers, QA) to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Implement security best practices including encryption, access control, and compliance for financial services.
Mentor junior engineers and participate in architecture and design reviews.
