About the OpportunityOur client is a mission-driven financial services organization operating in a highly regulated environment. They are seeking a Senior QA Analyst with deep Salesforce testing expertise to ensure the quality, stability, and scalability of enterprise Salesforce solutions.
This role will focus on validating Salesforce implementations, integrations, and business-critical workflows through both manual and automated testing. The ideal candidate will bring a strong quality engineering mindset, hands-on automation experience, and expertise in Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks.
What You’ll DoAs a Senior QA Analyst, you will be responsible for driving quality across Salesforce platforms and integrated enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing
- Validate Salesforce configurations, customizations, workflows, and business processes
- Test complex integrations between Salesforce and external applications
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts
- Execute API testing and data validation activities
- Create and manage test data, including masking, refresh, and validation strategies
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives
- Support release validation and production readiness activities
- Recommend improvements to testing processes, automation coverage, and QA best practices
- 6+ years of software quality assurance experience
- 3+ years of Salesforce testing experience
- Strong experience working within Agile/Scrum teams
- Experience validating enterprise integrations and data flows
- Understanding of Salesforce architecture, including:
- Objects
- Flows
- Security models
- Integrations
- Experience with Salesforce sandbox environments and deployment processes
- Proficiency with SOQL for data validation and troubleshooting
- Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks using:
- Selenium
- Playwright
- Comparable automation tools
- Experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks such as:
- Cucumber
- Spec Flow
- Experience utilizing the Page Object Model (POM) design pattern
- API testing experience using Postman or similar tools
- Experience with Java, C#, Python, or similar object-oriented programming languages
- Understanding of REST and SOAP APIs
- Strong SQL and backend data validation skills
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as:
- Jira
- Experience testing Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Experience supporting multi-org Salesforce environments
- Experience with Salesforce migrations or transformation initiatives
- Experience with in banking, financial services, or other highly regulated industries
- Knowledge of change management and release governance processes
