It is a hybrid role in Chicago, IL.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using AngularJS.
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs for integration with backend and third‑party systems, SSO & IAM provider.
- Build and support cloud‑native services deployed on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Cloud Run.
- Collaborate with Architects, Technical Leads, Business Analysts, and QA teams to deliver business requirements.
- Participate in application design discussions and contribute to technical solutions.
- Perform unit testing, code reviews, defect resolution, and production support activities.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, security requirements, and quality guidelines.
- Prepare Terraform for GCP infrastructure set‑up in all environments.
- Support CI/CD and Dev Ops practices for application deployment and release management.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand‑ups, and retrospectives.
- 4 to 7 years of software development experience.
- Strong hands‑on experience with AngularJS and Python.
- Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Type Script.
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
- Experience developing applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and using GCS, Pub/Sub, IAM, HTTP Load Balancer, AlloyDB.
- Hands‑on experience with Cloud Run or similar container‑based cloud services.
- Knowledge of microservices and cloud‑native application development concepts.
- Experience with Git‑based source control and Agile development methodologies.
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Experience in Insurance or Claims domain.
- Exposure to integration patterns and API management.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies and cloud deployment practices.
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $86,129 to $127,189.
