A leading financial technology organization is seeking a Principal Cloud Engineer to join its growing cloud and platform engineering team. This hybrid opportunity is available in Chicago. The company develops highly secure payment and banking technology used by millions of consumers and businesses nationwide. Engineers work with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Java, Docker, microservices, and modern automation platforms to deliver reliable cloud solutions at enterprise scale.

• 8+ years of software or cloud engineering experience
• Strong AWS experience across compute, networking, storage, security, and observability
• Expertise with Kubernetes and container technologies
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or other infrastructure automation tools
• Experience building distributed systems and microservices
• Strong understanding of CI/CD practices and automation

• Java and Spring development experience
• Experience supporting production environments at scale
• Knowledge of networking, DNS, HTTP, TLS, and Linux systems
• Fin Tech, payments, or banking experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
