• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of programming experience in Java.
• 2 years of experience in coding and system design with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python).
• 2 years of experience with code optimization.

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
• Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages:
  Java, Python, Go, C++, SQL/No
  
  SQL/NewSQL.
• Understanding of key issues in the security and privacy space, particularly in the tech sector.

The Admin Access Platform (AAP) Dynamic Policy Engine team is building Alphabet’s next-generation dynamic authorization engine. Our mission is to safeguard Google’s infrastructure and our users by preventing the misuse of privileged access  part of this we are focusing on major security overhauls to adapt to agentic traffic. This is a highly collaborative, high-impact platform team: we partner closely with Security, Legal, and Product Areas (PAs) across the company to design and enforce robust, intelligent access policies.

In this role, you will solve complex problems at the intersection of security, policy, and scale.

The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google’s flagship products. We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure se are the essential building blocks for excellent, safe, and coherent experiences for our users and drive the pace of innovation for every developer. We look across Google’s products to build central solutions, break down technical barriers and strengthen existing systems.

As the Core team, we have a mandate and a unique opportunity to impact important technical decisions across the company.
