I’m currently working with a leading proprietary trading firm that is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join a core trading technology team.
The role is focused on building and optimising high-performance Java systems operating at significant scale, with a strong emphasis on ultra-low latency, JVM performance and distributed systems.
Key areas:
- Low-latency / high-throughput systems
- Concurrency, lock-free & wait-free programming
- Distributed systems & distributed caching
- Trade processing, positions & real-time risk
Ideal candidates will have strong experience building performance-critical Java systems and a genuine interest in solving complex engineering challenges within a trading environment.
Please note for this role, the firm will be able to sponsor candidates already in the US, but not relocate people from abroad.
