Position Summary

The Service Now Developer is responsible for designing, developing, configuring, and maintaining applications and workflows within the Service Now platform. This role works closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to automate processes, improve service delivery, and ensure platform stability, performance, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, configure, and maintain Service Now applications, modules, forms, tables, and fields.
Create and customize workflows, Flow Designer automations, approvals, notifications, and task routing processes.
Develop server-side and client-side components including:
Business Rules
Script Includes
Client Scripts
Scheduled Jobs
Design and maintain Service Catalog items, Record Producers, and Catalog Workflows.
Build dashboards, reports, and performance metrics to support business operations.
Configure and maintain CMDB components and data integrity processes.
Develop and support integrations with third-party platforms using REST, SOAP, MID Server, Import Sets, and Transform Maps.
Troubleshoot application issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
Participate in platform upgrades, releases, testing, and deployment activities.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
Follow Service Now best practices, governance standards, and SDLC methodologies.

Required Qualifications

3+ years of Service Now development experience.
Experience developing within ITSM and Service Catalog modules.
Knowledge of:
Change Management
CMDB
Experience with REST and SOAP integrations.
Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA).
Service Now Certified Application Developer (CAD).
Experience with HRSD, ITOM, ITAM, HAM, SAM, CSM, or Sec Ops.
Experience with Flow Designer, Integration Hub, Performance Analytics, and Service Portal development.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
