Lead Product Engineer

Allstate is seeking a Lead Product Engineer to design and build agentic AI solutions that enhance observability across our finance and insurance platforms. You will lead the technical vision and delivery of AI-powered monitoring tools, integrating telemetry, logs, and metrics into intuitive products that help teams quickly detect, diagnose, and prevent issues. Partner with data, SRE, and product teams to define requirements, architect scalable services, and ensure reliability, security, and compliance.

Mentor engineers, champion modern engineering practices, and help shape Allstate's AI and observability strategy in a collaborative, learning-focused culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of agentic AI solutions for observability across Allstate platforms
• Architect scalable, secure services integrating logs, metrics, traces, and alerts
• Collaborate with data, SRE, and product stakeholders to define requirements and roadmap
• Implement robust monitoring, testing, and CI/CD practices for observability products
• Ensure compliance, reliability, and performance of AI-driven observability tools
• Mentor engineers and promote modern engineering and AI best practices
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable product decisions
• Contribute to Allstate's AI and observability strategy and technical standards
