Job Summary
Senior Jaspersoft Report Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise reporting solutions using Jaspersoft Studio/Jasper Reports. The candidate will have expertise in complex report development, distributed data platform integration, Java-based application development, and high-volume report generation. Jasper Reports supports enterprise reporting with multiple output formats including PDF, HTML, Excel, CSV, and XML.
Key Responsibilities- Develop complex reports using Jaspersoft Studio, including advanced layouts, styling, subreports, crosstabs, and multi-page report designs.
- Build high-volume reporting solutions leveraging virtualizers, pagination optimization, and memory management techniques.
- Create parameter-driven and dynamic reports integrating with Kafka, S3, Trino, Snowflake, and other distributed data platforms.
- Develop interactive HTML5 visualizations using Highcharts, D3.js, and custom JavaScript components.
- Implement role-based access control, report security, and data governance standards.
- Integrate Jasper Reports with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices.
- Optimize SQL queries and report performance for large datasets.
- Support testing, deployment, production support, and reporting enhancements.
- 5+ years of experience with Jaspersoft Studio/Jasper Reports.
- Strong experience in report design, subreports, crosstabs, and complex reporting frameworks.
- Expertise in SQL development and performance tuning.
- Experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST services, and microservices architecture.
- Experience integrating reporting solutions with enterprise data and cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of security, RBAC, and report distribution governance.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Experience in Capital Markets, Clearing & Settlement, or Financial Services.
- Experience with AWS/Azure, CI/CD, Git, and Agile methodologies.
