Senior Consultant, Applications Consultant

• Design, develop, enhance, customize, and integrate software applications
• Coordinate and guide lower-level team members
• Gather and analyze client requirements and design and develop computer systems
• Analyze existing applications to identify performance and response-time improvements
• Identify operational and technical issues and translate technical blueprints into requirements and specifications
• Develop systems requirements and implement systems strategy
• Perform impact analysis of code or design changes
• Create data models, workflow designs, and integration approaches
• Install necessary software and customize software to clients’ requirements
• Manage software-specific design and realization, testing, deployment, and release management, or technical and functional application management of package-based solutions
• Design, prototype, and test support procedures and implement business solutions under multiple deadlines
• Resolve issues to ensure project delivery
• Coordinate with application support teams to eliminate recurring incidents and minimize incident impact

• Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Business, Engineering (any), Math, Information Technology, or a related field
• Two (2) years of IT experience
• One (1) year of IT work experience using one of these skill sets: AWS, Python, and Tableau or Oracle; SQL Server, Oracle, and Informatica Power Center; XML, JUnit, and Hibernate; MS Visio, Oracle, and SAP;
  Java, Spring, REST, and SOAP Webservice;
  Terraform-based CI/CD deployments on Azure and AWS;
  Mule Soft, Azure, and Unix; or HP ALM, Jira, and Postman
• In lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree, three (3) years of post-secondary study in any field plus three (3) years of IT experience
• All experience may be acquired concurrently
• Travel and relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. required based on business needs
• Travel not to exceed 5% per year for meetings and assigned projects

Demonstrates expertise in software application design, development, and integration, with a strong focus on client requirements and performance optimization. Proficient in managing technical projects, coordinating teams, and implementing business solutions under multiple deadlines
