Overview

At ONYX, our mission is simple: to inspire movement through connection and community. ONYX is growing, and we are looking for Member Experience Coordinators to join our team! As an Member

X Coordinator, you are the first line of contact at all ONYX studios. You are well‑versed in all aspects of the ONYX Method and studio operations. You are key to providing superior customer service and assisting members with class selections, bookings, and questions. You will advise our new members, helping them select the perfect membership to meet their fitness and wellness goals.

• Greeting all members who enter the studio with enthusiasm, energy, and knowledge
• Champion the ONYX's new member introduction program, which includes welcome calls, studio tours, and presenting new members with a personalized membership option
• Develop a deep understanding of our Method, community, and studio standard to effectively educate and answer members' questions on all things ONYX.
• Handling member concerns professionally and objectively with the goal of resolution
• Participating in marketing and community outreach events
• Ensure the studio is clean and supplies and towels are restocked

• A minimum of 1-2 years of customer experience required (bonus points if it's within the fitness industry)
• Ability to be scheduled 18-28 hours with flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. (One weekend day availability is required.)
• Friendly, outgoing personality and enjoys social interaction
• Ability to prioritize work within a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
• Have an eye for detail and care for the studio's appearance and cleanliness
• Work as a cohesive team will all ONYX team members to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
  
  Candidates must be at least 18 years old to apply
• Ability to work at any ONYX studio within the Chicago market.

At ONYX, we believe in transparent compensation. Team members are paid consistently for their role, and exceptional performance is rewarded through additional earning opportunities. This position has a non‑negotiable hourly base rate of $18/hour
