The Chicago Fire Football Club (Chicago Fire FC) is an American professional soccer club that competes in Major League Soccer (MLS), the top U.S. domestic league. Founded on October 8, 1997, on the 126th anniversary of the Great Chicago Fire, the Club began play in 1998 as one of the League’s first expansion franchises. The Fire have won six major domestic titles, including the 1998 MLS Cup;

the 1998, 2000, 2003, and 2006 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cups; as well as the 2003 MLS Supporters’ Shield.

The Club recently announced plans to build a $750M+ privately financed downtown stadium in Chicago in 2028. Position Overview

Chicago Fire Football Club is seeking a motivated Coordinator, Soccer In The Community to lead all Soccer In The Community programs at the Fire Pitch. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of programming to drive participation and revenue growth while ensuring best‑in‑class customer service, administration, and communication.

By enhancing program quality and fostering strong relationships with families, this role plays a key part in expanding the reach and impact of Chicago Fire FC within the local community.

Job Responsibilities
  • Oversee all Socct In The Community programs at the Fire Pitch, including;
    Little Sparks, Camps, Field Trips, STEM, and Classes
  • Maximize schedule to operate year‑round programs at the Fire Pitch to hit participation and revenue targets
  • Oversee program administration and operations to ensure excellence in customer service, safety, and program quality
  • Implement new programs and partnerships that directly impact participation to generate new revenue streams
  • Manage new and existing partnerships with key youth and community soccer stakeholders
  • Implement a comprehensive marketing and outreach strategy to attract new players while fostering meaningful connections with club partners, fans, and the wider soccer community
  • Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of youth/adult soccer programming experience
  • Ability to work in a team/collaborative work environment is required along with strong organizational, interpersonal, analytical, and planning skills
  • Ability to coach, train and motivate team members
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ticketing software and in database usage
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work non‑traditional hours, in non‑traditional settings, including all home games (or other work events) that fall on nights, weekends, and/or holidays
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience recruiting, managing, and developing sales teams.
  • Previous experience selling or marketing for youth organization
Compensation
  • This role offers an hourly rate of $20-$22. Final rate is determined by carefully considering the applicant’s background, experience, and qualifications. Base pay may vary significantly based on geographic location, job‑specific knowledge, skills, and overall experience. This role is classified as Full‑time, exempt
