Shipco Transport Inc., a leading international cargo transportation company, has an immediate opening at our Chicago branch located in Franklin Park, IL, for an experienced LCL Export Operations Coordinator.

• Coordinate and oversee the load planning and warehouse operations for Shipco controlled consol containers and customer own containers.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of shipments, tracking, and documentation.
• Act as a central point of contact for internal departments, external partners, key global accounts and vendors.
• Assist the operations department with managing emails pertaining to O,S&D holds, transit/schedule inquiries, warehousing services and any distributing any other inquiries to the appropriate parties.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between different teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement efficient workflows.
• Work closely with relevant teams to streamline operations and enhance overall efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, transactions, and other relevant documentation.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Address and resolve operational issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and find solutions to challenges that may arise.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.

• Proven experience in operations coordination or a similar role.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with logistics and supply chain processes.
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using relevant software and tools.
