Part-time 20-25 hours/week, flexible weekday schedule with summers off. Must be able to work BOTH morning and afternoon routes.  Compensation:
Paid training – no experience necessary. Starting pay $20.50/hour ($18.00/hour paid during training)

** A Special Education School Van Driver is responsible for transporting students safely and on time from their pickup point to school and back. This includes performing pre-trip inspections, ensuring child safety, and maintaining compliance with DOT regulations.
**** Qualifications
* ** Three (3) years of driving experience with no breaks/gaps and no more than 1 moving violation in that time period.
* Candidates cannot have any DUI/DWI on their driving record.
* Must be able to pass a Department of Transportation physical.
* A pre-employment background check and drug screen are required.
* Must be at least 23 years of age.
* Valid Driver’s License.
* Must be able to obtain a School Bus Eligibility Receipt from the DMV. (Required at the time of interview)

* Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections

* Use navigation tools to plan efficient routes

* Interact with students, parents, and staff in a professional manner
* Perform other duties as assigned
