Drive a tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate local, over-the-road, shuttle, and overnight routes delivering food and related products;
Perform pre/post trip inspections and safety checks per Department of Transportation regulations;
Verify deliveries with customers and obtain signatures; unload and handle freight as required;
Maintain accurate paperwork and daily hours of service logs per DOT and company policies;
Maintain vehicle and trailer security and perform general housekeeping at loading docks
