CDL Truck Driver

• Location 4555 South Racine Avenue, Chicago, IL, 60609, United States
• Base Pay $18.5 - $22.5 / Hour
• Employee Type Union Non-Exempt FT

Truck Drivers are responsible for safe operation of company vehicles to deliver product to customers in a safe and timely fashion.

• Adherence to all DOT and FMCSA regulations.
• Deliver to 8-15 customers per day.
• Maintaining proper trip records related to distance/miles and product delivery.
• Confirm all deliveries are correct with reference to the invoice, truck temperature, and product quality.
• Call in all discrepancies to Dispatch Office and record Credit Memo #s for customers.
• Get customer signatures on all invoices and RMAs.
• Ensure proper storage of equipment upon returning to the building.
• Follow procedures as it relates to processing of returned and/or extra product.

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and a valid Medical Examiners Certificate.
• Must consent to a review of Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Must pass a Department of Labor Drug and Alcohol Test.
• Must be able to comprehend (read and write) the English language.
• The position requires walking, standing, bending, twisting, and reaching 6- 8 hours per day.
• Must be able to safely lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and stand for long periods of time.
