Overview

Dispatcher - Chicago, IL - $18.00 per hour.

The Dispatcher plays a pivotal role in the success of our business. They serve as the main point of contact with customers, fostering strong client relations, and may have occasional delivery duties.

• Schedule drivers' routes and ensure on‑time, accurate deliveries.
• Work well with customers.
• Use the dispatch program to track orders from other stores.
• Set up and distribute runs to drivers.
• Ensure drivers count money collected and record delivery times on bills.
• Collaborate with Parts Pullers to ensure deliveries go out correctly.
• Assist drivers with routes and other job aspects.
• Communicate with customers over the phone to update them on order status.
• Assist drivers who encounter route difficulties.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• 1‑2 years warehouse experience preferred.
• Current, valid driver’s license.
• Meet company insurance requirements; drivers must be 21 years old or over.
• Familiarity with warehouse safety measures.
• Maintain and promote workplace safety.
• Secure and transfer cash or other assets.
