Salary and CompensationSalary:
Top 50% average $83,606 per year. CPM:
Starting pay $0.64 to $0.67 CPM.
Experience:
One-year verifiable tractor trailer experience with a class A CDL.
At Crete Carrier and Shaffer Trucking, our miles are up significantly. We need more safe, experienced drivers to meet the needs of our customers. Drivers are paid based on practical miles, earning 3-5% more total miles per year than companies that pay based on short route miles. Practical miles roll in faster now that we’ve raised our governed truck speed to 68 MPH cruise and 65 MPH pedal.
The most productive 50% of our Crete Carrier and Shaffer Trucking OTR drivers average more than $101,176 annually ($1,945 weekly). The top 50% of our Hunt Transportation drivers average $93,347 annually ($1,795 per week).
