Job Summary
Under general supervision, this position is responsible for properly installing and inspecting tires on company tractors and trailers at customer sites and rail yards. The role may involve working outdoors, in the elements, or across multiple shifts including nights and weekends, and may require overtime. Full-time attendance is required.
Key Responsibilities- Install and inspect tires on tractors and trailers using company guidelines.
- Observe all company safety requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Organize and maintain tire inventory for trucks.
- Ensure compliance with safety policies and OSHA requirements while at customer facilities or rail yards.

The expected starting pay range for this position is between $21.62 and $24.89 per hour.
Relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates located outside a 50‑mile radius of the job.

Minimum Qualifications- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to work outdoors, in the elements, or across multiple shifts including nights and weekends, if needed.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass J.B. Hunt standards for operation of a company vehicle.
- Basic tools required; employees must supply their own tools in most locations (toolbox purchase program available).
- 6 to 12 months of tire‑related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team (no direct supervision).
- Ability to multitask and exercise discretion.
- Basic deductive reasoning skills.
- Experience working in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficient active listening, organizational, and time‑management skills.
- Self‑motivation.
- Ability to fulfill physical requirements, including lifting above 50 lbs., bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling.
- Ability to wear appropriate work attire (protective gear/PPE).
- Ability to make time‑sensitive decisions.
- GED (Required).
- High School Diploma (Required).
- Maintenance, Safety, Transportation/Logistics.
