Role Overview
The Fleet Support Associate is responsible for ensuring Sally vehicles are ready, safe, clean, and available for customer use by executing day‑to‑day fleet logistics and vehicle readiness processes. This role supports operational performance by transporting vehicles between locations, completing readiness checks, coordinating fueling and cleaning, and responding to vehicle‑related issues quickly and accurately. The Fleet Associate plays a critical role in keeping the fleet moving and minimizing downtime.

Success in this role looks like vehicles being consistently staged and ready for drivers, fleet tasks completed quickly and accurately, and minimal operational delays due to vehicle readiness issues.
Key performance metrics- Vehicle readiness completion rate
- Fleet task turnaround time
- Utilization support outcomes (vehicles staged and available on time)
- Vehicle issue response time
- Error rate in vehicle offboarding and system updates
- Serve as the first point of contact for all on‑site customer inquiries and route them appropriately.
- Perform vehicle readiness checks and offboarding through internal systems.
- Transport vehicles to fueling, cleaning, staging, and maintenance/repair facilities.
- Execute vehicle recoveries as needed.
- Support real‑time logistical problem solving to ensure vehicles are available and operational.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
- Transport vehicles to and from TLC and DMV inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Move vehicles between Sally locations, partner sites, and external vendors as needed.
- Support compliance‑related vehicle needs, including transporting vehicles for repairs, maintenance, or inspection follow‑ups.
- Perform basic vehicle checks (fuel level, cleanliness, documentation completeness) before and after inspections or transport.
- Maintain accurate logs of vehicle movement, inspection appointments, and compliance status.
- Coordinate with operations and compliance teams to ensure appointments and vehicle needs are executed efficiently.
- Identify and report visible vehicle issues or documentation discrepancies before inspection.
- Assist operations and fleet teams with ad‑hoc vehicle transport and logistical needs.
- Fluent in English.
- 3+ years with a valid US state DMV driver’s license.
- Strong driving skills with cautious and precise motor control.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify vehicle imperfections.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong punctuality and reliability.
- High level of computer proficiency.

Compensation range: $18 - $22 per hour
