ORD Fueling Supervisor

The aircraft Fueling Supervisor responsibility is to supervise and coordinating all Aircraft Fuelers in the Operation, safely and efficiently while fueling/defueling and servicing of aircrafts at the airport. You will need to perform simple mathematical functions such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing with regards to weight, measurement and volume to interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions as they pertain to fueling.
Other responsibilities include issuing written and verbal instructions while ensuring adherence to safety procedures.
This role requires you to maintain a safe and secure work environment, in accordance with local health, safety, and security policies and procedures.
Supervising Aircraft Fuelers in their assigned areas to ensure Fuelers are performing their duties in a professional, safe and efficient manner according to Company/Carrier's standards to ensure the effective operation of fueling
Recommending manpower requirements, performing as a mentor while maintaining harmony among workers and resolving grievances
Ensuring disciplinary procedures are conducted in a fair, timely, and consistent manner, upholding the company's commitment to Equal Employment Opportunity
Carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
Responsible for accurate accounting of fuel transactions
Pay: $27 for the first 90 days, $30 once off probation
You will have a responsibility and duty whilst at work to take reasonable care of the health, safety and wellbeing of yourself and others in accordance with provided information, training, and workplace health and safety rules or procedures. Ability to proficiently read, write and speak English and perform basic math calculations
Handle fueling carts and fueling hoses which will require you to lift and move up to 70lbs.
Work is done primarily outdoors; must be comfortable working in all weather conditions.
Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.
Prior experience preferred including possession of a Commercial Driver's License or experience in the Oil and Gas Industry (preferred)
