Coordinate the overall scheduling and dispatching of delivery operations by communicating with truck drivers through computers, phones or two-way radios;
Assign drivers to trucks and ensure they depart and arrive on schedule;
Answer questions from drivers and help them avoid traffic and stay aware of inclement weather;
Communicate with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally and timely;
Monitor On-Time performance and driver Hours of Service (HOS) compliance
