Transportation The main responsibilities are to drive our customers in an open-top double-decker bus on designated routes in Chicago, IL. To prioritize safety andmaintaina high standard of driving and to ensure that the companies schedules and routes are adhered.
- Report on time to the depot as scheduled in required uniform
- Perform and complete Pre-trip inspection of your assigned bus including checking to ensure bus is clean and ready to receive passengers-entails walking around your bus to do proper pre-trip inspection
- Follow the given route as scheduled
- Play recorded commentary tour throughout the tour routes
- Stop at every bus stop on the route (regardless of whether or not passengers are present)
- Maintain the safety of the bus and passengers at all times during the tour
- Follow all state and Federal traffic and DOT laws rules/regulations
- Report any incidents or accidents immediately per company policy
- Seasonally we require drivers to process ticket sales with provided ECR machines
- Collaborate closely with Tour Managers to deliver highest level of customer service.
- Greet customers with smile and kind approach at all times.
- Knowledgeable of Hop on Hop off industry a plus
- Basics Customer Service knowledge
- Familiar with Chicago downtown area and high trafficked locales
- Natural communicator
- Commercial Driver’s License.
- Class A or B - Passenger Endorsement
- Airbrakes
- 2 years experience
- DOT Medical card with a National Register number on it, signed by and MRO and stamped by the MRO Office (Medical Review Officer)
- A current CDL MVR/Abstract taken within the last 30day and it must show that the driver has registered his medical status with DMV. (A CDL ABSTRACT IS DIFFERENT FROM A REGULAR ABSTRACT/MVR)
- Social Security Card
