Cornerstone Driver Solutions is hiring experienced CDL-A Company Drivers for a dedicated local intermodal position based in McCook, Illinois.

This is a home-daily intermodal opportunity with consistent local work, two consecutive days off, day-cab equipment, and a mix of live-load and drop-and-hook freight. Drivers should understand that while the position is marketed as local,
regional runs can occur and may result in an overnight layover at least once per week.

• Average weekly earnings: $1,280
• Top weekly earnings: up to $1,550

• Band pay based on miles and experience
• Optional 6th day available for additional pay
• Actual earnings vary based on miles, experience, dispatches, and available work

• Home daily
• 2 consecutive days off
• Normal schedule: 5 days per week

• Tractors leave and return to the McCook yard each day under the normal operating pattern
• Regional assignments can occasionally require an overnight layover

Drivers will operate a dedicated intermodal fleet handling a combination of:

• Live-load freight
• Drop-and-hook freight
• Intermodal containers
• Rail-related freight
• Multiple daily dispatches
• Local and occasional regional runs

The average dispatch is approximately 65 miles from the rail ramp , although some assignments can be significantly longer.

Some regional runs may travel to:

• Ohio
• Michigan
• Kentucky
• Iowa
• Wisconsin

Certain regional runs can involve 500–600 miles round trip and may result in a layover.

• Able to work approximately 10–12 hours per day
• Willing to work the assigned 5-day schedule
• Willing to work an optional 6th day when desired
• Comfortable with occasional regional dispatches and potential layovers
• Reliable transportation to and from the McCook yard
• Must meet applicable DOT, safety, and carrier qualification requirements
• Strong attendance and communication skills
• Ability to safely operate in rail-yard and customer environments
