The Admiral at the Lake is seeking a dependable and service-oriented Driver to support the transportation needs of our residents.

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport residents according to scheduled transportation needs.
• Assist residents with safely entering and exiting vehicles.
• Assist with packages and luggage as needed.
• Maintain a professional, courteous, and calm demeanor in all traffic and transportation situations.
• Perform daily vehicle safety checks, including fuel, oil, water, and other required items.
• Keep vehicles clean and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain accurate transportation and vehicle maintenance logs.
• Follow defensive driving practices, state laws, and all safety requirements.
• Communicate effectively with residents and staff regarding transportation schedules and concerns.
• Fill in for other drivers and complete additional transportation runs as assigned.
• Assist with general service calls, supply pick-ups, furniture and equipment moves, snow removal, room set-ups, and special events as needed.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and follow HIPAA, privacy, security, and organizational compliance requirements.

This is a hands-on role where excellent customer service, safety, dependability, and the ability to work cooperatively with residents and staff are essential.

• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Must be insurable under The Admiral at the Lake’s vehicle insurance requirements.
• Prior experience driving a van or small bus.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to work cooperatively with residents, staff, and others.
• Ability to remain calm and professional while driving in varying traffic and weather conditions.
• Ability to follow defensive driving practices and all applicable state and safety regulations.

• Ability to sit for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 60 pounds and, at times, in excess of 125 pounds.
• Ability to work outdoors and in inclement weather.

The Driver is responsible for providing safe, reliable, and courteous transportation services to residents of The Admiral at the Lake. The Driver operates company vehicles to transport residents to scheduled appointments, outings, and other destinations while providing excellent customer service and ensuring resident safety.

In addition to resident transportation, this position assists with loading and unloading residents and packages, vehicle inspections and maintenance, transportation records, general service calls, supply pick-ups, room set-ups, and other facility support duties as assigned.
