Within our Warehouse we are looking for experienced 'plate' builders, also known as Freight builders. Here it is the turn of the specialists, and you will operate at a higher level than our regular Warehouse employee. You are experienced, this is your next step to either continue to grow or apply your current experience from the outside.

The pay rate for this job is $26.80/hr full-time employees are offered a range of health and wellness benefits as well as 401(k) with company match paid vacation time, sick time, and company paid holidays.

• Building air freight in various contours for different aircraft types (B747F / B777F / A330F / A300F / B737F) in accordance with Airport Handling Manual;
• Recognizing all common ULD types;
• Ensuring the correct documentation (construction data, ULD, TAG);
• Consult with Operations and Cargo Office regarding cut-off times and/or the construction process;
• Recognizing and identifying dangerous goods, taking into account their structure;
• Use of Hand Held Terminals.

• 3 to 5 years of experience in building aircraft plates within Swissport or at another Cargo handler;
• Experience in using forklift trucks 2.5/5/8/16 tons;
• Knowledge of Dutch language, spoken and written;
• Global knowledge of the English language;
• Able to perform physically demanding work safely;
• Willing to work irregular shifts (day/evening/night/weekend)
